Luigi Limido: ‘We are focused on business development in Europe’

Luigi Limido has been appointed as head of international business development for Bally Wulff, as the German gaming company looks to strengthen its position in export markets across Europe.

Established in 1950, Berlin-based Bally Wulff is a leading manufacturer and supplier of cash gaming machines, jackpot systems, management software and online games.

While the company’s operations are primarily focused on the German street market, Bally Wulff has been steadily expanding its market strength in an international context, particularly in Spain and Italy.

“Over recent years, Bally Wulff has been able to significantly expand its success abroad through its co-operation with national market leaders such as Unidesa in Spain,” the company stated.

“In order to intensify the continuation of these co-operations and explore additional interesting opportunities and possibilities, Luigi Limido is now strengthening the penetrating power of Bally Wulff’s export business.”

Limido has more than 20 years of experience in business development, marketing and sales across various industry sectors.

“My main responsibilities are to define new opportunities based on the context in which the company develops its current product portfolio, and detect and analyse the possibilities of geographical expansion in other markets and even other segments in the current markets we serve,” Limido told

He added: “I will also search for synergies, strategic agreements, partnership policies and any other type of partnership that allows us to leverage growth. At the same time, I will be reinforcing and managing the necessary support for the growth of our partners in each area or region.

“For me, business development is an area of innovation applied to a particular model, organisation and business, and is key in companies with a vision of the future. At this moment, we are focused on business development in Europe, specifically Spain and Italy, so we are devoted to our strategic partners in these countries, with our next priorities currently being defined.”

Totally Gaming says: Bally Wulff is a stalwart of the German street market. Following the company’s continued success in international markets, the appointment of Luigi Limido – an experienced business development manager with more than 20 years of experience – will no doubt help the company achieve its vision for the future.
