UK-based Rank operates big-name casino brands Mecca and Grosvenor.

British online casino game supplier Rank Group is the latest firm to have struck a deal with Yggdrasil Gaming. The deal will see Rank acquire the Malta-headquartered company’s full portfolio of titles on its site.

Rank, who operate the Grosvenor and Mecca Casinos brands, will enjoy access to slots such as the popular Jungle Books and Valley of the Gods.

Yggdrasil CEO Fredrik Elmqvist told TotallyGaming.com: “We have struck a number of significant commercial deals in the last few months, and they go to show the confidence operators have in our products.

“We will continue to focus upon delivering world-class online casino games, as well as innovating across a number of exciting areas, to ensure our operator partners receive the very best products on the market.”

Bhotesh Maheshwari, Rank Group Head of Casino, added: “Yggdrasil is a relatively new entrant in the space but have already delivered some extraordinary titles and superior bonusing tools. We are very pleased to serve their content to our Mecca Bingo and Grosvenor Casino players, and look forward to utilising the Boost promotional tools.”

As part of its expansion strategy, Yggdrasil has recently announced a duo of deals concerning European markets, in addition to taking its first steps into the multiplayer bingo world. Deals with Danske Spil and Eurobet.it have expanded the firm’s reach in Denmark and Italy respectively.

Totally Gaming says: Yggdrasil’s expansion shows no signs of letting up as it concluded 2017 with yet another agreement, this time with Rank Group. It’s fair to say the firm can take many positives looking back on the year as a whole, and the implementation of a “more of the same” strategy moving into 2018 would be far from foolish.
