The agency has secured a further 12-month retainer with Resorts

Vegas Kings has extended its association with Resorts Digital, the online division of Resorts Casino, to help bring the operator’s revenues in line with the market leaders in New Jersey.

The web design and development agency, who have managed Resorts’ online and offline creatives for the last two and a half years, announced a 12-month renewal of its digital creative retainer, which covers and

Under the terms of the agreement, Vegas Kings is to handle all creative and web development requests, ranging from online acquisition banner creatives, social media adverts, HTML mailers, video production promoting new games to full HD TV adverts, billboards and website back-end development.

New Jersey’s Division of Gaming Enforcement (NJDGE) released its gaming revenues for the month of July this week, which included a 25.8% increase in internet gaming win to $25.90 million.

Golden Nugget stood out as the market leader, building upon June’s 50.1% increase to record a 49.3% climb in July to $9.33 million, rising from $6.25 million.

A significant leap of 30.3% was also felt by Borgata, whose figures climbed to $4.93 million (up from $3.79 million in 2017), before Resorts Digital came in third, albeit with a significantly slower upturn of 5.1% to €3.94 million ($3.75 million in 2017).

Ashley Adir, chief executive officer of Vegas Kings, commented: “We are very excited and proud to continue our close working relationship with the Resorts Digital Gaming team.”

He continued: “Both brands are gaining great share within the New Jersey online market and the additional value that VK brings to the table is helping pave the way for both services to be at the forefront of the industry.”

Totally Gaming says: Digital creatives are set to play a key role as internet gaming win closes the gap on casino win in the Garden state. The creative keys remain with Vegas Kings, but Resorts will expect better online revenues as the post PASPA boom gathers pace.

However, figures for the coming months should vindicate the operator’s sports betting focus - having combined with DraftKings to launch the first online sportsbook in New Jersey, Resorts extended its partnership with The Stars Group to add mobile/online sports betting through BetStars, and will launch a third sports betting option on through an alliance with SBTech.
