Swedish regulator approves five new licence applications

The total number of operators licensed by Swedish regulator Lotteriinspektionen has risen to 20 after the likes of The Stars Group, Betway and Betclic Everst Group had their applications approved.
The trio have all been awarded online gaming and sports betting licences, with Betclic Everest’s Nordic-facing Expekt brand approved. Betway will enter with its core brand, while The Stars Group is to roll out localised variants of its PokerStars, PokerStars Casino, Full Tilt and BetStars brands.
Malta-licensed operator Tipwin has also been awarded sports betting and gaming licences, and Mandalorian Technologies, another Malta licensee, has secured an online gaming certificate.
Like Global Gaming, which has already been licensed, Mandalorian Technologies offers no-registration gameplay via the NoAccountCasino.com and PrankCasino.com brands.
