International software house Sirplay has revealed that it is to launch its first Bitcoin sports betting software.

At ICE 2017, an integration of Bitcoin as an available payment method for all Sirplay’s turnkey solutions was announced, with this now the next step.

Sirplay CEO Bart Esposito told "This is a monetary revolution. Before the introduction of Bitcoin, anyone that wanted to transfer money online was forced to use a credit card company or a bank.

"With Bitcoin this doesn’t happen; it gives full control to users, allowing money transfers through the Bitcoin network which replaces the work done by banks and credit cards. Practically, you can have a money supply controlled by a computer.”

As a payment method Bitcoin could be exchanged for a chosen currency by the bookmaker, with players able to deposit and withdraw from their Bitcoin Wallet as if it were a bank account or credit card.

With this latest launch, however, the cryptocurrency is to be used in the entire business cycle, from platform acquirement to the player’s cart. Through doing so any trading risk is to be avoided, whilst its own commission can be charged to players willing to bet with Bitcoin.

Totally Gaming says:  The advantages of cryptocurrency are plentiful and far reaching and through this announcement Sirplay have rightfully acknowledged that it is experiencing a growth that simply can’t be ignored.
