R. Franco signs digital partnership with Colombian operator

Spanish gaming group R. Franco continues its push into Latin America, as the company’s interactive division signs a new deal with Colombian operator, Corredor Empresarial.

Under the terms of the agreement, Corredor Empresarial will implement R. Franco Digital’s latest-generation Iris omni-channel platform, as well as the company’s extensive catalogue of online games and sports betting.

Corredor Empresarial operates the largest commercial network of games of luck and chance in Colombia, with more than 25,000 points of sale and 75,000 terminals throughout the country.

“Latin America is an extremely exciting region for R. Franco, with several markets either recently regulated or looking at new regulation,” Alejandro Casanova, head of digital at the R. Franco, told TotallyGaming.com.

“With our strong Spanish-language heritage, we are uniquely positioned to capitalise on these opportunities by offering world-class products and local expertise.”

Looking ahead, Casanova said R. Franco is continuing to look at strategic partnerships with major operators in the region’s key jurisdictions. “We can add huge value to innovative operators who looking to grab market share across Latin America,” he said.
