Quickspin moves into Italy through PokerStars deal

Playtech-owned game development studio Quickspin is to launch its games in the Italian market for the first time in partnerships with PokerStars.
The deal with The Stars Group’s flagship brand will see the supplier launch some of its most popular titles such as Sakura Fortune, Dragon Shine, Phoenix Sun, Wild Chase and Second Strike, with others to follow over the coming months.
The deal comes after PokerStars was awarded an online casino licence from Italian gaming regulator AAMS earlier this year, after a new licensing window for operators was opened in January.
“We are delighted to have secured a deal with Pokerstars. Going live with them is exciting for us and continues our exciting plans for expansio,” Quickspin chief executive Daniel Lindberg said.
“We live and breathe slots and are passionate about what we do,” Lindberg continued. “Our mission is to create ones that players love, and we’re looking forward to taking the country by storm with some of our most exciting games.”
