The Telegraph Group is to build on its recent record breaking success by launching a new partnership with Fresh8 Gaming.

After securing record acquisition numbers for the Floyd Mayweather v Conor McGregor superfight in Las Vegas, the newspaper group will now deepen this partnership moving forward.

Sarah McChesney, commercial manager at Fresh8 Gaming, told  "The results achieved from the McGregor fight were fantastic to see and a great starting point to drive this partnership forward from.

“The Telegraph offers market leading sport content, which we're looking forward to enhancing with automatically matched operator bets.

“By ensuring the Telegraph's content is supported with highly personalised and relevant messages, we're confident we'll be celebrating many more McGregor style record acquisition weekends in the weeks and months to come."

By leveraging Fresh8’s publisher toolkit, the Telegraph group are moving from static advertisements and creating personalised and targeted adverts from which to maximise their sports content.

Steve Stiles, head of interactive sport at The Telegraph, said: “We are delighted by our technology partnership with Fresh8 for our sport and fantasy content.

“Fresh8 enable us to offer relevant messaging to our customer base automatically and we have already seen great results. Using the Fresh8 technology for the Mayweather McGregor fight we saw record numbers of conversions, proving this partnership is a win-win for everybody.”

Andrew Sharland, CEO at Fresh8 Gaming, added: “The Telegraph is a great partner for us. Their premium sports content fits perfectly with our ambition to provide publishers with tools that enhance the betting conversion journey, while simultaneously removing the burden of ad generation and distribution.

“By automatically inserting betting messaging into publisher content we are delighted to be helping to generate record results for The Telegraph Media Group. This is one of a series of Tier 1 partnerships we will be announcing in the coming months.”

Totally Gaming says:  Personalisation, such as in this case, is clearly something that can yield great results.  By offering content that is supported by targeted messages will undoubtedly appeal to customers on a much larger scale.  Something the Telegraph has proven in the Mayweather McGregor example, and will look to exploit through this partnership moving forward.
