A similar deal with Peru's DoradoBet was struck earlier in the year.

Patagonia Entertainment has ventured into the Colombian igaming market after striking a deal with Wplay.co. The deal comes after Patagonia struck up a similar partnership with Peruvian sportsbook operator DoradoBet back in February.

The deal will see Patagonia Entertainment integrate its entire catalogue of video bingo content onto the operator’s Colombia-facing platform.

The international game testing laboratory, BMM Testlabs, is at the final stages of certifying Patagonia Entertainment’s entire games library, which now features over 13 titles.

DoradoBet, a major player in Peruvian igaming, similarly gained access to Patagonia’s range of video bingo content through the deal.

Patagonia Entertainment’s Global Business Development Manager, Victor Arias, told TotallyGaming.com: “We at Patagonia Entertainment are looking into 2018 as a key year for expansion and growth. We are leaders in Latam and our relationship with Wplay.co is our first step in the new regulated market in Colombia.

“Our road map includes other market such as Asia and Africa which we are actively exploring. A lot of innovating ideas and new features are coming in the next months looking forward to keep offering our partners high quality and the best performing content.”

Wplay.co’s General Manager Julio Tamayo added: “Adding Patagonia Entertainment’s video bingo titles to our platform means our players remain completely engaged with Wplay.

“Innovation is key in all we do and we want our players to have the best experience possible on our platform. This latest deal helps us diversify our offering further to meet the demand of all  Colombian players.”

Totally Gaming says: These two deals mean that Argentina-based Patagonia Entertainment now has a firmer grip on the South American market, and the firm’s influence has widened to incorporate Colombia and Peru. Judging from Victor Arias’ comments, they’re not keen to rest on their laurels either.
