Online gaming provider NYX Gaming Group has moved to expand its service offering through the launch of a slots offering with major bookmaker Ladbrokes and the addition of new options to its NYX Poker product.

Under the deal with Ladbrokes, NextGen Gaming, NYX’s Australian slots studio, will deliver a number of mobile and desktop slot titles to the bookmaker via the NYX OGS platform.

In addition to titles such as ‘Foxin’ Wins’ and ‘300 Shields’, Ladbrokes will be able to leverage a range of third-party content via NYX OGS.

Speaking to TotallyGaming.com about the deal, NYX Gaming Group commercial director David Johnson said the Ladbrokes agreement will expand the firm’s already large distribution network.

“The Ladbrokes deal widens our already best in breed distribution network – NextGen mobile and HTML5 from day one to Ladbrokes," Johnson said. “They, of course, have the option to deploy the many third parties we have integrated also.

“We are delighted to announce our partnership and go-live with Ladbrokes and look forward to developing a close relationship across our respective businesses.”

Meanwhile, NYX Gaming has also opted to build on its recent acquisition of the Ongame Poker Network by expanding its own NYX Poker product.

The company has confirmed the addition of mobile Sit & Go tournaments to its poker offering and said these new native applications complement what it said is “one of the strongest mobile products in the industry”.

“NYX Poker widens our product offering; we are investing in the technical and feature development of it already, and looking for operator partners,” Johnson told TotallyGaming.com.

Expanding on Johnson’s comments, David Flynn, executive vice-president of business development at NYX Gaming Group, added: “Having the ability to launch Sit & Go tournaments via our mobile and tablet poker products is an essential part of any poker offering.

“Both customer and player feedback has been great and we are looking forward to building on this latest release with new features and functionality. These games are now available for iOS mobile and tablet players in our .com, Danish, Belgian, UK and Italian facing products, with operators such as PAF, Pokerheaven, Best Poker and Interpoker.”

Looking ahead to next year, Johnson also told TotallyGaming.com that the industry should expect further activity from NYX Gaming as it seeks to expand its service further.

“There will be expansion into more regulated markets in 2015, and we will attack new product verticals as we see fit – an example being our scratch cards which are freshly live with William Hill,” Johnson said.
