Supplier's games to go live once Swedish market re-regulates in 2019

NetEnt has entered into an agreement with Svenska Spel’s iGaming subsidiary to launch a range of its online casino titles when Sweden’s re-regulated market opens in January 2019.

The deal has seen NetEnt selected as a partner of Svenska Spel Sport & Casino following what it calls a thorough qualification process.

It follows the supplier’s deal to provide AB Trav och Galopp, the former horse racing betting monopoly operator, agreed earlier this month.

”NetEnt was an obvious choice when selecting an online casino supplier ahead of our re-regulated market entry on January 1st, 2019,” Svenska Spel Sport & Casino managing director and business unit head Fredrik Wastenson said.

“We are convinced that NetEnt will deliver casino games of the highest quality and become a very important partner for us.”

NetEnt Malta managing director and chief product officer Henrik Fagerlund added: “I am very pleased that Svenska Spel has selected NetEnt as supplier ahead of the Swedish market re-regulation.

“Svenska Spel is the most established gambling operator and the largest sponsor of sports in Sweden,” Fagerlund said. “We really look forward to a close collaboration to deliver best-in-class digital casino games to Svenska Spel’s customers.”
