Per Eriksson has backed his company's position in the online gaming sector

An impressive list of new partnerships helped NetEnt to record growth in all key areas in 2015.

The digital gaming solutions provider said it signed 43 new licence agreements and launched 37 new customers’ casinos during the 12-month period, with full-year revenue subsequently up 33 per cent year-on-year to SEK1.1bn (€119.5m/$134.9m).

NetEnt announced new content partnerships with Codere, Gala Coral, Gamesys and Tropicana during the period, and also went live in New Jersey with Borgata, Caesars Interactive Entertainment and Golden Nugget.

“2015 was yet another fantastic year for NetEnt - continued growing demand for digital casino entertainment and for our products helped us reach new record levels in terms of revenues, results and cash flow,” said Per Eriksson, president and chief executive of NetEnt.

“We continue to deliver on our long-term strategy for profitable growth with new products, new customers and new markets.

Customer satisfaction is the foundation for our long-term growth and our approach is to have a business partner mindset for shared success.”

Operating profit grew 53.5 per cent year-on-year to SEK401.6m, with profit after tax increasing by 53.8 per cent to SEK374m, while operating margin increased from 30.7 per cent to 35.5 per cent.

Eriksson added that NetEnt’s success is based on its ability to service the ever-expanding market for online gambling.

“There is a clear trend – people spend more and more time and money online, consuming digital entertainment, including online casino games,” Eriksson said.

“The global online gaming market is supported by ongoing migration from land-based gaming. We will continue to focus on premium digital casino solutions, solutions that enable success for our customers.”
