Mattias Weder lands role as new tech chief at Mr Green

Weder will take up his new role in September

Online bookmaker, Mr Green has announced that Mattias Wedar will replace Stefan Gustafsson as chief executive of its technology development subsidiary, Mr Green & Technology.

Wedar was previously employed as the role of chief information officer and chief executive officer at Swedish search portal Eniro, roles that will have given him much experience, he'll be hoping to utilise to settle quickly into his new role at Mr Green in September.  

Mr Green Chief Executive Per Norman told “Our mission is to offer our customers a superior gaming experience in a responsible environment.  Key elements in achieving this is a strong focus on digital technology which will enable us to personalize our offering and customer communication.

“This also encompasses the continuous development of our technology platform and broadening of our product portfolio as well as geographical presence. The recruitment of Mattias Wedar is a crucial part in realizing these plans”

Totally Gaming says: The appointment follows on from the news that Mr Green recorded a successful H1 for 2017, in which the company declared “its most successful quarter in business.” This is a good sign for Wedar as he takes over an already succesful department, of a succesful operator.
