Daniel Lindberg, chief executive officer of Quickspin, has opened up about the video slot producer’s plans to use its new platform to enhance its reputation in the gaming sector and build on the “tremendous” growth it experienced in 2014.

The new platform, which will be made available to new and existing licensees, will enable operators to access Quickspin’s entire range of content. Licensees will also be able to access new content that is being developed for both mobile and desktop platforms.

Speaking to about, Lindberg said that Quickspin will now focus its efforts entirely on the new platform in order to ensure its success.

“Our new platform will be the core of everything we do from here on,” Lindberg said. “Not only in terms of game development but also in terms of the value added services we are building in the platform, surrounding the game.

“With our experience from the free-to-play space, we believe that we are able to bring in new and innovative functionality that can potentially change the mechanics of how operators can communicate with new and existing players.”

One licensee that will benefit from the new Quickspin platform is iGame Group, which recently brokered a deal to access the developer’s full suite of games across mobile and web.

The online gaming operator already offers more than 100 online slots from major software providers via its various brands, but the Quickspin deal will enable it to further enhance its service offering to customers.

“With our new platform we are able to provide iGame with our entire catalogue of games, but more importantly they’ll be able to access all our future titles, development and released simultaneous for mobile and desktop,” Lindberg said.

“This will not only boost our business with iGame, but have a dramatic boost our business as a whole as we are currently rolling out our new platform to a wide range of operators.”
