The battle with 10 companies to gain operator's business

Online platform supplier EveryMatrix has just won the contract for Norsk Tipping’s procurement for the iGaming Integration Platform and will provide its CasinoEngine platform to Norweigan operator. caught up with EveryMatrix executive chairman Stian Hornsletten to find out more about the process. How big a deal is this for EveryMatrix?

Stian Hornsletten: Norsk Tipping reported H1 2016 revenues of NOK249m (£23m) with a year on year growth of 25%, which should bring the total 2016 revenues well above NOK500m (£46m). Norsk Tipping will also consider the integration of other games such as Bingo, skill games, social games and other game types throughout the contract period. This deal has a lot to offer for both companies and represents an endorsement for the flexibility and capabilities of our casino platform.

TG: Is it one you've been chasing for some time?

SH: Back in April 2016 Norsk Tipping announced an invitation to suppliers of gaming platforms to qualify as a tenderer in order to deliver a well-tested ‘iGaming Integration Platform’. As per the announcement, Norsk Tipping was looking for an established iGaming company that could be responsible for the delivery, implementation and integration of an ‘iGaming Integration Platform’ with operational services. EveryMatrix applied, and since that moment, our company underwent all stages of Norsk Tipping’s tough selection process.

TG: How much of an endorsement of the quality of the CasinoEngine is this tender?

SH: EveryMatrix was selected as the one to provide the “iGaming Integration Platform” out of more than 10 iGaming companies who participated starting initial stages. The project has been evaluated on several criteria including Price, Solution, Operation and Project Management. We would say it’s a very big endorsement and we take pride in our work and focus we had for the past 12 months with the goal of making CasinoEngine one of the most competitive products in the market.

TG: What is Norsk Tipping now getting out of this deal?

SH: Norsk Tipping will bring one of the best and most competitive product offerings to the Norwegian players. Choosing to outsource the iGaming integration platform, as well as operational services surrounding the operation and support of their gaming vendors, is an excellent decision that allows Norsk Tipping to swiftly and efficiently bring a competitive product to the market.

Being a Norwegian, this is a big milestone and achievement for me personally, but also for our company due to size and the competition for this tender. We have invested heavily in brand new software and platforms over the last two years. That Norsk Tipping chose our CasinoEngine clearly shows that the hard work and effort we have dedicated are also what the market is looking for.
