Deal provides GIG Games with route into Italian and Latin American markets

Gaming Innovation Group (GIG) has signed a partnership with Join Games, through which the casino games aggregator will act as a reseller of  content from GIG’s in-house games studio.

The agreement initially covers the Italian and Latin American markets, with Join to launch the first GIG Games title on its platform in the first quarter of 2019.

GIG describes its new partner as having developed a strong presence in each market, working with brands including Microgame, Scommesseitalia and Pixelo in Italy, and Wplay and Mijugada in Latin America.

“Join Games is proud to be the first external partner for GiG Games,” Join Games chief executive Magnus Kolaas said. “It clearly shows our strategy to work in close partnership with all our operators is the right way to go.”

Luigi Spina, managing director of the company’s Malta office, said he was excited to add GIG Games content to his company’s portfolio.

“There are not many game providers in the market which have the ability to enter the regulated markets both in Italy and in Colombia at the same time,” Spina said. “From trying their games which are in development, I’m certain local players will love their games”

GIG Games managing director Mathias Larsson added: “We are very happy to announce our first signing with an external partner at such an early stage with GiG Games. This clearly shows the strength of GiG Games as a part of the GiG ecosystem.

“GiG Games’ sales strategy is to work with aggregators (resellers) in markets where GiG don’t have a direct presence,” Larsson explained. “Join Games is the perfect partner for us in Italy and Latin America due to their close connections with operators.”
