GAN strengthens Italian presence with Goldbet launch

Supplier claims its clients generate almost half of total online casino GGR in Italy

iGaming platform and content supplier GAN has further developed its presence in Italy’s online casino market by going live with its latest partner Goldbet. 

The deal sees Goldbet become GAN’s ninth client to launch in Italy, and follows the partnership being announced in April this year. With GAN integrating its platform with that of Goldbet, it has launched a range of casino content with the operator. 

Goldbet is active both online and through its network of more than 900 betting shops across Italy, and claims to have a 3% share of the country’s iGaming market. 

GAN noted that following the deal, its clients now account for 45% of total casino GGR generated in the country.

"GAN continues to win major clients in Italy by delivering an increasing number of high quality Internet casino games to our Italian clients, carefully procured from independent casino game design studios worldwide as well as major land-based casino equipment manufacturers,” the supplier’s chief executive Dermot Smurfit said.

“GAN’s distribution reach now extends to nearly half of the regulated Italian Internet casino gaming market: We very much welcome the launch of Goldbet as our ninth operator client in Italy.”
