Kfir Kugler, the chief executive of Ezugi, has highlighted the potential for “strong, long-term” growth in Latin America after the live dealer gaming systems provider struck a four-year partnership with Peruvian racecourse the Jockey Club del Perú.

Under the deal, Ezugi will become the venue’s exclusive provider of digital and entertainment gaming content for the club’s land-based facilities and online and mobile platforms.

Ezugi will supply a complete suite of gaming products such as live casino, pool betting, lottery, slots and a sportsbook. Players in Peru will be able to gain access to such services via the Jockey Club del Perú website, as well as in 105 betting facilities across the country.

Speaking to TotallyGaming.com about the reasons behind the deal, Kugler said Ezugi has identified the wider Latin American market as a key growth region and the new partnership with the Jockey Club del Perú will help the company access various expansion opportunities in the region.

“Ezugi believes that the Latin American market holds strong, long-term potential for growth,” Kugler told TotallyGaming.com.

“Ezugi wishes to become market leader of live dealer in Latin America. Ezugi sees regulation as part of the natural growth process of the market and wishes to associate itself with regulated bodies in the region.

“Having our live casino dealer studios in Central America means we have the existing capabilities to service the local market with localised products and strategic partnerships. Our partnership with the Jockey Club, an established brand and operator, allows us to bring our know-how not only on live dealer products, but also on other third-party gaming content.”

Expanding more on Ezugi’s growth plans for this year, Kugler revealed that the company is currently working on updating its existing offering as well as launching new services in an effort to capture new business around the world.

“Ezugi is extending its abilities to support full turnkey solution back office requirements for operators looking for each services,” Kugler said. “Ezugi is currently looking to open three new live dealer studios around the world and hope to have the biggest live games portfolio by end of 2015.”
