Italy-facing gambling operator Eurobet hopes to continue its 2014 success after adding 42 new slot games to its website.

The launch of the new web games, created by World Match, follows Eurobet's release of 38 slot machines from the same developer via its mobile portal in the first half of 2014.

Eurobet, a subsidiary of Gala Coral that offers betting, casino and poker, has enjoyed a fruitful 2014 in retail and online, having seen its market share rise by 2.4 percent to 11.2 pervent, according to its annual results published in September. was relaunched in the first half of 2014 and reached an online market share of 9.2 percent in Italy compared to 8.4 percent the previous year.

In its FY14 results, Gala Coral identified as a key driver of growth, citing "a strong pipeline of new games".

Gaming stakes in FY14 were £122.9m (€156.4m/$109.4m), or 27 percent, ahead of last year, driving gaming gross profit £1.4m or 21 percent  ahead. In addition, had 147,800 active members in FY14, which was up 29 pervent on the previous year, while gross win percentage was up by 1.8pp at 15.3 percent.

Andrea Boratto, World Match executive director, added: “Our slot machines are the outcome of an in-depth study of habits and preferences of the Italian players, thanks to which we finalised a game engine that fully satisfies the target.

"I also believe that the release on the part of Eurobet of our games for the web, will increase in turn the popularity of the slots for mobile, since that both versions share the same game engine, ensuring continuity of the game experience and allowing, among other things, to increase the jackpot, which is an additional attraction for the players."
