The event was held in Macclesfield last Friday.

CheckdMedia hosted its first corporate golf day, ‘The CheckdMedia Open’, last Friday, with Marketing Director and Owner Lee Struggles describing such events as “a great way for us to drive positive collaboration on our projects”.

Taking place at Shrigley Hall Hotel & Spa in Macclesfield, the outing welcomed a number of CheckdMedia partners to come along for a breakfast, fourball game and awards ceremony.

Struggles told TotallyGaming.com: “It’s good to maintain a strong relationship with our trusted partners. Face to face social events with our clients are the best way to maintain this relationship as well as a great way for us to drive positive collaboration on our projects whilst relaxing in a fun environment such as a golf day.”

Partners for the event included Tunafish Media, SportNation, Red Frog Digital, EATMCR, Bermans, RSM, Ascendis Business Services, Altrincham FC, Tilney and OBI Property.

With both CheckdMedia owners, Jamie Knowlson and Struggles, keen golfers who have attended many corporate golf days, the duo wanted to host their own event for their staff and partners. CheckdMedia now hope the day will become an annual event.

Struggles also outlined some of CheckdMedia’s plans for the remainder of 2018 and beyond: “We are continuing to develop new and existing products, exploring overseas markets further and also acquisitions.

“Our acquisition of oddschanger last year was a huge success and something we are continuing to pursue again. Our team has grown in the last year, in particular our video and content team with a focus of CheckdMedia to create more of our own content.”

Totally Gaming says: Social events such as this one are an excellent way for firms like CheckdMedia to strengthen their working relationships. Everyone wants to be Tiger Woods when they get on that fairway, and that only adds to the camaraderie!
