Supplier will broadcast roulette from land-based venues for new partner

Live roulette specialist Authentic Gaming has struck a deal with Latvian iGaming operator Optibet to move into the Latvian and Estonian markets.

The partnership will see Authentic’s live roulette games, which are streamed live from land-based venues, rolled out across Optibet’s licensed sites in each market.

This will allow the operator’s customers to play on tables at the US Foxwoods Resort Casino, Denmark’s Royal Casino and Italy’s Saint-Vincent Casino, among others.

The supplier will also deploy games from its Live Arena Studio for Optibet. Authentic claims that the Malta-based Live Arena Studio is the largest live auto-roulette studio in the world. It broadcasts games from six tables, and allows customers to play four different variants of the game, including the supplier’s new Blaze format.

“This is a breakthrough deal for us, and forms part of our strategy to enter regulated markets in Europe and beyond,” Authentic Gaming chief executive Jonas Delin said.

“The Latvian market is very exciting as gaming laws prohibit Latvian based live dealer suppliers from targeting the local market, but through our partnership with Optibet we can swiftly establish Authentic Gaming as the market leader in live roulette.”

Chris Davis, head of casino at Optimove’s parent company Lifland Gaming said that he believed the deal could help develop Latvia’s “extremely limited” live casino market.

“We chose Authentic Gaming because of their high quality video stream, intuitive UI and player-driven functionality,” Davis explained. “We love the product and I'm sure our customers will too."
