Six year stay enhanced until 2023 following latest deal

Aspire Global has revealed an extension of its Danish iGaming licence, as the firm signs a new partnership with Copenhagen based Aller Group within the nation.

Enabling further operations within the Danish market, Aspire, who have been operating under a gaming licence in Denmark for six years, have now seen their licence prolonged until 2023.

Furthermore Aller Media Denmark, an Aller Group brand, is to launch an iGaming brand in the second quarter of 2018, and has chosen Aspire’s full service solution in order to target the market.

Through the launch Aller Group, a leading publisher of magazines and newspapers in the Nordic region, is to become one of the first media firms in the region to add iGaming to its offering.

Tsachi Maimon, CEO of Aspire Global, told "With the introduction of any new local regulation, the market’s landscape evolves, and new players are introduced to the iGaming sector. This has happened in every single market that has become regulated, for example in Italy, Spain, Portugal, Denmark and the UK.

"We have high expectations for the Swedish market. The ASG platform is robust and adaptable, while we have built up a high level of experience in certifying it for multiple jurisdictions.

"We are confident in our strength to meet the technical standards of the Swedish regulator. Our experience in the Nordic markets, especially Denmark, will surely assist us in our efforts."

Totally Gaming says: This duo of announcements follows Aspire detailing it is all set to launch in Portugal, after striking a deal with local partner Cofina Media for a sportsbook launch in the regulated Portuguese market. Active in six regulated markets, Aspire also states that it is to apply for a Swedish licence, in time for re-regulation of its gaming market in the beginning of 2019.
