Zynga appoints Hawley as vice-president and general manager

Social gaming firm Zynga has named Pete Hawley as its new vice-president and general manager in the latest in a series of management moves by CEO Don Mattrick. Hawley joins the Californian-based company having previously served as CEO of location-based games developer Red Robot Labs.

Hawley joins other recent appointments, including Regina Dugan, a vice-president of engineering at internet search engine giant Google, who joined the company’s board in July, and David Lee, who was named as the firm’s new chief financial officer and chief accounting officer in April.
