XIN Gaming chief highlights opportunity

Mathias Larsson, chief executive of XIN Gaming, has said the launch of the firm’s latest slot title, ‘Candy Quest’, will help to satisfy an increasing demand for games in the Asian market.

The launch of Candy Quest comes just weeks after XIN Gaming also rolled out a batch of four titles in ‘HighRoller’, ‘Sky Guardians’, ‘Video Poker Bonus Deuces Wild’ and ‘Video Poker Deuce Wild’.

Reflecting on the swathe of launches, Larsson said that there is a great demand for slot games in Asia, and the ongoing rollout of new titles places gives XIN Gaming an advantage over competitors.

“We are definitely on track with our target of releasing 20 new titles in 2016,” Larsson said. “In fact, we will most likely have to revise that target upwards.

“There is a massive demand for slot games in Asia and together with our integrated third-party providers we have positioned ourselves as a one-stop shop for operators who want to have a strong casino offering for their players.”

The new five-reel, three-row and 20-line game released by XIN Gaming offers a unique cascading feature, where symbols fall into place on the reels and the multiplier increases after each. Candy Quest also has a free spins feature that could help players boost increase winnings.

Larsson’s observation of a great demand for slots in Asia has not gone unnoticed by other developers in the industry, with many working to get new slots to the market. However, the advantage XIN Gaming has is that it is already established in the region and has a strategy in place to supply players with new games on a regular basis, which should also make it popular amongst operators in Asia. Regulatory challenges, however, remain in large parts of the continent, with many game suppliers focusing on distributing games outside of Asia.
