Steve Rogers believes Rush Football 2 will be a ground-breaking game

Inspired Gaming believes it is “uniquely placed” to generate growth through the thriving virtual sports market.

The gaming developer, which this week signed renewed its deal with Italian betting operator SNAI, was at the forefront of the development of virtual sports, having launched the product segment in 2001 and generates around $10bn (€9.04bn) of revenue per year.

William Hill, Ladbrokes, Bet365, Lottomatica, Sisal and the National Sports Lottery (NSLAC) in China also use Inspired’s range of games. Steve Rogers, the company’s senior vice-president, told that Inspired's experience, along with its investment and development, makes the firm a sector leader.

“Inspired has invested millions in its Virtuals research and development; with comprehensive player research and state of art digital animation techniques,” Rogers said. "Inspired has expertise across every segment of gaming, from social and sports betting to casinos.

"We are uniquely placed to understand how virtual sports can be best leveraged for every channel and player type to drive incremental, structured revenues.

“Inspired is also investing heavily in a five-year product roadmap for its virtual products, which includes upgrades to existing sports, new sports and numbers games, and the delivery of new technology solutions to meet the emerging needs of omnichannel operators.

“All of Inspired’s existing and new customers will be able to take advantage of the most innovative product enhancement strategy on the market.”

Inspired provides its virtual products to land-based, online and mobile operators across 50,000 venues and 300 web and mobile sites, in 35 countries.

Under the deal with SNAI, Inspired will continue to provide a range of virtual sports across its retail and online platforms. This will include the eight premium virtual sports currently being offered as well as the new ‘Rush Football 2’ product, which is set to be a landmark release according to Rogers.

“Rush Football 2 is Inspired’s most ambitious and sophisticated Virtuals product to date,” Rogers said. “It is created by Inspired’s BAFTA award-winning team of designers and betting experts, combined with new insight from UK and International consumer research.

“With lifelike Ultra HD graphics and over 30 bet markets it’s made for a very exciting and premium player experience. It comes in a number of formats including single game and multi-game, allowing players to place accumulator bets across several virtual matches playing at the same time.

“A number of spin-off games are already in development including league/tournament formats and ‘quick-spin’ formats for mobile channels.”
