The investment round has been live on Seedrs since 19 April

Social gaming provider Premier Punt says it will take its B2B-focused business to the next level once a successful funding round is closed next month.

The round went live to the public via crowdfunding platform Seedrs on Thursday 19 April with a minimum target of just over £250,000.

Having attracted substantial investment, including from Victor Chandler, the round is now in overfunding up to a hard capacity limit of £750,000.

Premier Punt CEO John Gordon told TotallyGaming.com: “I’m excited about where the company is just now but, more importantly, about where it is heading. We have huge aspirations. Our advisors have done it all in the industry from start-ups to exits.

“To get to where we want to be quickly, we felt it was necessary to go through another funding round and we have been getting some great traction so far. We are looking to close the round next month (June 2018) allowing us to fully focus on accelerating the business.”

“The current investment round will enable us to take the business to the next level, develop more games for our clients and strengthen our existing team," added Gordon. "We are more than satisfied with what we have achieved so far but I now feel it is time to scale up and fully achieve our potential."

Totally Gaming says: It is an exciting time for CEO John Gordon who, prior to the raise, delivered a successful 6-minute pitch to investors at the 10th annual Engage Invest Exploit (EIE) event in Edinburgh. While he looks forward to accelerating the Premier Punt business, he has also been nominated for the Great British Entrepreneur Awards.
