New app is live and ready for download on both iOS and Android

Fantasy sports provider Sportego has launched a new fan app in conjunction with AFC Bournemouth and online food delivery company Deliveroo.

The app features transfer news, and the chance for Cherries fans to win Deliveroo vouchers via a dedicated fantasy and predictor game. Deliveroo allows fans to order high quality takeaway from their favourite restaurants and have it delivered straight to their home or office.

The AFC Bournemouth Fan App has been live and ready for download on both iOS and Android since last weekend, and will be evolved with new features such as quizzes and probability widgets added over the course of the season.

Trevor Keane, CEO for Sportego, told "Sportego is delighted to be working with AFC Bournemouth and Deliveroo on such a fan-centric product. Fan engagement is an important part of the match day, and this product will help Deliveroo build a strong relationship with Cherries fans.

"Fans can play a pick 5 fantasy game and a predictor based on AFC Bournemouth fixtures, with weekly chances to win great prizes, including Deliveroo vouchers and official club merchandise.

"As the season and the relationship progresses, Sportego will add more tools to the platform including a probability widget and a polls/quiz section. We are excited about the final product and look forward to seeing AFC Bournemouth fans using the product."

Rob Mitchell, Commercial Director at AFC Bournemouth, added: "We are looking forward to the launch of this fan app and giving our supporters the opportunity to compete in the popular Pick5 fantasy football and score predictor game.

"The app will also offer another digital platform for fans to connect with one another in the build-up to each of our matches. I would like to thank Sportego for developing the app, and Deliveroo for coming on board as the headline partner."

Totally Gaming says: Sportego has already worked with West Bromwich Albion, Cardiff City, Birmingham City, Chesterfield FC and Bury FC on fan-based products. The company is establishing a reputation for helping professional sports clubs and organisations to gamify their match days, which in turn leads to increased engagement, interaction, social conversion and revenues.
