Sheriff Gaming has confirmed that it has made the strategic move into the mobile sector.  ‘The Amsterdam Masterplan’ and ‘Spartania’ which is one of Sheriff Gaming’s most recent titles, are the first two games to be converted to mobile.  According to the company one of the most significant developments  is the use of HTML5.  This ensures that once downloaded, the games appear in the device browser, enabling the player to access the same games without having to go via an app store.  From an operating perspective this avoids additional rev-share requirements.

Sheriff Gaming’s SMART™ platform will cater to the most popular mobile devices including Apple iPhone 4, 4S and 5 and Android Smart phones.  The games can also be downloaded and played on tablets including Apple iPad 1, 2, 3, 4 and Android Tablets.  Sheriff Gaming has redesigned the games to work across these devices by adapting them to take into account the different resolutions, touch interface and smaller screens.  The games have also been made a lot smaller in file size which allows for a faster download.

Eric Roskamp, Spokesperson at Sheriff Gaming said, “The development of SMART™ and our mobile game roll out is a landmark opportunity for Sheriff Gaming to bring its unique 3D content to a mass market.  This year alone we are aiming to launch between 10 and 15 slot games and 5 table games that operators can promote to their players via mobile and PC.  We are really excited to have the technology to promote our games across multiple channels and in more than 20 different languages.”
