Boku’s carrier billing solution allows customers to make payments using their mobile phone number

It will soon be easier than ever for Sportito users to deposit through their mobile phones, following the recent signing of a partnership between the daily fantasy sports (DFS) operator and mobile payments platform, Boku.

US-based Boku’s flagship carrier billing solution enables customers to use their personal phone number to make deposits, without the use of a bankcard.

The alternative payment method, which is ideal for users who do not want to use their bankcard online, is already being utilised by companies including Google, Microsoft, Sony and Facebook.

Sportito said the partnership with Boku represents a “great advancement” for the UK-focused DFS platform.

“We give the best possible experience for our users, and our partnership with Boku is another step of this process,” Sportito CEO Riccardo Mittiga told

“The Boku integration will give a secure and a convenient payment method for our customers when they deposit on Sportito. Comparing the years of experience and relationships Boku has with top companies, I’m sure we made the right decision in choosing the payment provider.”

Totally Gaming says: While many of Sportito’s contests are free to enter, some require a small entrance fee. The company’s partnership with Boku will ensure a seamless payment process for thousands of DFS fans across the UK, and adds another level of security as the group plans to roll out its solution in new European markets.
