Football INDEX CMO Mike Bohan gives his advice to traders

The World Cup is synonymous for providing emerging footballers with a stage to announce themselves as stars of world football. Subsequently, the tournament can provide the perfect platform for football traders to excel and achieve rapid growth in the value of their portfolio.

The Football INDEX platform has made available every player involved in this summer’s enthralling tournament, allowing traders the freedom to invest in any players that they believe have shown potential at the tournament.

Nonetheless, in spite of the wide platform of available players, the unpredictable nature of the World Cup means that there’s a level of uncertainty when it comes to the best approach on trading at football’s showpiece event.

When asked how he feels traders can maximise the tournament, Mike Bohan, Chief Marketing Officer at Football INDEX, outlined to “My advice would be to look beyond the World Cup and into next season. Traders who take a medium to long term view tend to trade more profitably than those who are in it for a day trading experience, but of course there are opportunities in both. A blend of short term speculation and longer-term positions to hold make the ideal portfolio.”

He added: “Ultimately, it’s up to each individual trader and that’s the beauty of Football INDEX there really is nothing else like it in the market which provides such an extended entertainment value, intellectual satisfaction, and of course those all-important cash profits.”

Totally Gaming says: Football INDEX capitalises on two key elements of this summer’s World Cup; not only does it allow players an alternative method to utilise their knowledge of individual players, but it also takes advantage of this being the most mobile based World Cup yet through offering users an app that’s slick and easy to use.
