Eventure targets customer connection with new mobile games service

Social applications and technology development firm Eventure has launched a new mobile games division in an effort to encourage further interaction and connection with its customers.

The company said that ‘EventurePlay’ has been developed to complement its established social calendaring application and the recently released SmartScreen camera and streaming hub.

Games released through the new EventurePlay service will be free-to-access for all customers and have been designed to promote a social interaction of players to local events organised through Eventure’s social calendaring application. Each game will also feature a “revenue-up spell” to allow players to purchase premium virtual items whilst playing games.

Speaking to TotallyGaming.com about the service, Gannon Giguiere, founder, president and chairman of Eventure, said the new division would not only help “satisfy” customer demand, but also generate higher revenue growth for shareholders.

“After reviewing the feedback from early adopters of the Eventure service, it became evident that beyond scheduling, attending and sharing at events, users wanted games and supporting apps to compliment the experience,” Giguiere said.

“We have been keen on the growing gaming category for some time now and think that not only silly, but social games will round out the Eventure experience nicely.

“Our goal is to simply satisfy the needs of our users and they made it loud and clear to us that they enjoy having games to play while at events. So, we are building a suite of games that are fun “time killers” as well as "social connection" games that make our platform even more relevant and sticky.

“We are hoping to achieve user growth, user retention and more effective monetisation so we can better satisfy our users and create higher revenue growth for our shareholders.”

Giguiere noted that 12 new titles are slated to be released via EventurePlay, with each game set to be made available for download from Apple’s App Store and Google Play.

“With each release we will be communicating to our user growth and the investment community the effort,” Giguiere said. “We will also be engaging early adopters on Kickstarterter to start to grow additional social validation in the marketplace.

“We are excited about this new endeavour for Eventure and look forward to continuing to satisfy the needs of our growing user base.”
