New Betfred partnership to see football package integration

The Racing Post has announced a fresh partnership with Betfred, for the integration of an “innovative new digital football content package” which comes with a multitude of benefits for customers.

Offering a vast array of football markets alongside the data package, it is now live on the latest Betfred mobile and tablet apps.

Eugene Delaney, B2B Director at Racing Post, spoke to about the benefits this brings for punters and the possibility of more partnerships to follow: “The new football content offers a wide variety of benefits to Betfred punters, as they now have access to top quality football content at the touch of a button without having to leave the app, allowing for a seamless betting experience. Betfred customers will now have access to Racing Post football Verdicts, Key Stats, Spotlights, Predictions and Team News.

“We are currently talking to a number of partners about using our football content on both digital platforms as well as in retail via our Racing Post Touch and Racing Post Display products. Content for other sports, such as golf, is also under development and we have a number of operators keen to take this content when it becomes available.”

Featuring independent focussed analysis and tips designed to engage consumers, it also comes with a predicted line up, available up to three days in advance, and complete with integrated goalscorer markets.

Delaney concluded by discussing how the package will be maximised to benefit both parties: “We hope the football content enhances the reputation of both Betfred and Racing Post when it comes to providing football content.

“We hope to see customer engagement rise thanks to the quality content now available via the Betfred app and in turn we will be able to tweak and add to the content based on customer feedback. We are also planning to introduce an in-play football product later this year to complement the pre-match offering.”

Totally Gaming says: The benefits for consumers as a result of this link up are startlingly clear, particularly in the data rich world we now find ourselves. With such a volume of content available at the tips of their fingers, this seems to represent a rather rounded betting experience.
