Steven Valentine, director of interactive at Comtrade Gaming, has told that the company plans to use its new partnership with Net Entertainment to expand into the Scandinavian market.

Under the new partnership, Comtrade’s licensed operators will be able to access mobile and flash content from gaming content developer NetEnt.

In addition, Comtrade’s iCore Enterprise Gaming Platform will also be integrated with NetEnt’s entire casino games portfolio.

Speaking to about the new partnership, Valentine said that Comtrade plans to use NetEnt's experience in Scandinavia to expand its own services into the region.

“We are always looking to expand and grow our business and Scandinavia is a market where we believe we can add a lot of value,” Valentine told

“NetEnt is the No.1 provider of content in this region and so we believe the partnership will allow us to enter this market.

“As online gaming is fairly mature in this region, operators need to be able to maximise player values and retention is key.

“For the last few years we have been focused on building an enterprise level gaming platform using the latest technology.

“This allows operators to take full control of their players experience and provides them with the tools that most igaming platforms are lacking.

“However, the backend technology has to be matched with the best front end content; we hope when the platform is combined with NetEnt games, together with our other content suppliers, this should appeal to many operators and bring opportunities to grow our business.

“Our partnership with NetEnt gives operators the best end-to-end technology and allows for an enhanced player experience.”
