Wyoming Lottery has triggered a five-year extension to its contract with Intralot for the period from 25 August 2019 to 25 August 2024.

Wyoming Lottery, a partner of Intralot’s since its inception in 2014, has expanded from just two multistate games, Powerball and Mega Millions, to include an annuity game called Lucky For Life and an instate game called Cowboy Draw.

Working with retail solutions such as the clerk-operated Photon and the player-facing Genion, the Lottery has been able to scale up its business.

The renewal also includes player advertising displays for all Wyoming retailer locations, Intralot’s proprietary content management system and full operational support of the new content management system.

John Donahue, CEO of Intralot USA, told TotallyGaming.com: “Intralot greatly values the renewal of the Wyoming contract as this has been a project we worked from Lottery inception.

“Our recent stream of successes, including our contract to provide our technology and services to Camelot for a ten-year period for the Lottery of Illinois announced a few weeks ago give us fresh confidence. This track record reflects our investment in new products and Intralot’s long experience in large Lottery operations.”

Wyoming Lottery Director Jon Clontz added: “The Wyoming Lottery has had a terrific partnership with Intralot and this extension will allow the two entities to continue that partnership for the benefit of the cities, towns, municipalities and people of Wyoming whom we ultimately serve.”

Totally Gaming says: This is the first of three five-year extension options in line with the initial contract terms set out by Intralot. Donahue added that it was another step in the company’s mission to support the municipalities and people of Wyoming.
