Pitch ICE winner is showing its wares in Singapore

Startup games supplier and previous Pitch ICE winner Gamevy has signed its most significant deal yet to provide new instant win games to the regulated lottery sector via a deal with Novomatic Lottery Solutions (NLS).

The client roster now includes Microgaming’s Quickfire platform, MarathonBet and Lottoland, which is also a minority shareholder in the company.

The deal with Novomatic was announced at the World Lottery Summit taking place this week in Singapore. The deal will see Gamevy providing customised games via the NLS platform.

NLS chief executive Frank Cecchini said the company had been watching Gamevy’s progress for the past year. “We like the way they think,” he said. “Gamevy is passionate and focused on making high quality games that are notably different than anything else on the market today. The Gamevy team truly understands the lottery player and the new challenges which lotteries face as they struggle to stay relevant and exciting.”

The companies said the hope was to provide unique lottery-style games that will be more original than the usual selection of popular retail scratchcard games that are typically simply translated online.

Gamevy’s selection of games to date, including Boss The Lotto and The Heist, are aimed at encouraging a broader-based demographic to online gaming and play on tropes found in TV game shows and social media. The range of digital scratch instant games are designed specifically for mobile with differing mechanics matched to different games.

The new content is being showcased at this week’s show.

Gamevy won Pitch ICE in 2015 and then it followed it up with the Game to Watch Award at last year’s show.

Totally Gaming says: The progress made by Gamevy since winning Pitch ICE at the start of last year shows the potential of the firm’s prospects. To get the support in the lottery sphere from a company as large and established as Novomatic underlines the quality of the games.
