It's all about G2E this week, with half the gambling industry decamping to Las Vegas for the American gambling trade show.

David Sargeant of iGaming Ideas was very impressed at one of the new developments that will engage millennials.

He tweeted: "Skill gaming causing a buzz. Doesn't feel like gambling #G2E2016"

IGT was happy with how the week has gone.

The company tweeted: "Today, IGT won “Casino Product of the Year” and “Land-Based Industry Supplier of the Year” at the Global Gaming Awards. #YourIGT #G2E2016"

CalvinAyre.com's Becky Liggero was excited to see Scientific Games' new Seinfeld slot machine... not that there's anything wrong with that.

She tweeted: "Waiting in line to meet the Soup Nazi!! #G2E2016 #ScientificGames @G2Eshows"

Amy Wenske, Social Media Coordinator at Kirvin Doak Communications, knows what she likes on the Konami stand.

She tweeted: "Coolest new game at #G2E2016"

Meanwhile Betway’s Alan Alger believes that Sam Allardyce should have channelled his inner Alan Partridge when trying to keep his £3m a year England job after a newspaper sting operation caught him saying some things he shouldn’t.

He tweeted: "No, I'll just repeat the question, can I have a second England game?"..............."Give me a second England game you s***!"

While in Mayfair, London, someone else who is interested in having a less international focus was chatting to John McCrirrick in Star Sports' plush new betting shop.

The bookmaker tweeted: "Putting the world to rights in the new Star Mayfair shop @Nigel_Farage @RealMcCririck #starmayfair"
