A breakdown of some of the more interesting figures to emerge from the gambling industry in the past seven days

10 – the number of Emmy’s won by US comedy show Seinfeld, which has just been licensed by Scientific Games for a brand new slot machine, launched at G2E this week. "We're pleased to showcase the wit, humour and antics of SEINFELD in an all-new and exciting format, as part of an interactive gaming experience which we know will appeal to all SEINFELD fans and newcomers alike," said Greg Paul, spokesperson for Castle Rock Entertainment.

£100,000 – the amount won by a LeoVegas customer playing Net Entertainment's Mega Fortune on the mobile app. He staked just £5 on the game before going on to take the six-figure jackpot. 1 – the number of companies remaining for Cyprus’ casino resort licence after two of the three short-listed firms dropped out. Philippines’ Bloomberry Resorts and Cambodia’s NagaCorp have withdrawn their interest, paving the way for the partnership between Hard Rock international and Melco International Development.

Nagacorp said: “After careful review and given all the latest information available to us, the board of directors of the company wishes to inform that the company will not be participating in the RFP and the decision made is in the best interest of our shareholders and the company.”

3 – the number of new territories that is to offer Quickfire Games after a new deal with Prima Networks, powered by Microgaming, to supply online gaming content for Spain, Belgium and Bulgaria. Liron Snir, GVC’s Chief Product Officer, commented: “This is an important supply deal for us that will significantly enrich the quality of our games portfolio in the Spanish, Bulgarian and Belgium markets. Signing a marquee name like Microgaming is a major boost to our positioning in these key strategic territories and is transformative to our casino portfolio.”

4,500 – the number of OPAP betting shops that will be carrying Inspired Gaming’s virtual sports next year after the two firms signed a memorandum of understanding Damian Cope, CEO of OPAP Group, commented: “I am pleased to be announcing this deal, which is an important first step in building a world class portfolio of products for OPAP. Inspired’s Virtual Sports is a proven product with players in many other European jurisdictions and I am confident that our own customers in Greece will also enjoy playing these entertaining games.”

10 – the number of consumer facing brands owned by the Unibet Group that is causing the company to consider a group rebrand to Kindred Group plc. CEO Henrik Tjärnström explained: “Introducing a group name separate from our consumer facing brands will provide us with the necessary strategic flexibility to ensure we remain at the very forefront of our industry. As a group we have played an important part in driving the industry forward, and we intend to continue to do so in the future.”
