A breakdown of some of the more interesting figures to emerge from the gambling industry in the past seven days

€26 million - The amount Oslo-listed Gaming Innovation Group (GIG) paid to acquire Scandinavian media owner Stk Marketing. The acquisition is expected to generate more than €7 million in group EBITDA for GIG within the first 12 months.

80 - The number of people that will be in attendance at the the inaugural Esports Insider Forum Series, hosted at Fnatic’s very own Bunkr in Shoreditch, London. Those in attendance will be able to enjoy beer and pizza, as those who wish to showcase their FIFA skills compete in the ESI tournament. The tournament will be broadcast on the big screen, and will be commentated on by special guest, Sky Sports and TalkSPORT commentator, Gary Taphouse.

35 - The age of Swiss tennis legend Roger Federer as he turned back the years to win a record eighth Wimbledon title, defeating Martin Cilic in the final. Bookmakers were offering 2/1 on Federer winning the tournament before it started.

18 - The age in which Irish cabinet ministers approved as the new uniformed gambling age limit. The new mandate will set a uniformed age limit across all forms of licensed gambling across Ireland. The introduced Bill has set out to modernise the provisions of the 1956 Gaming & Lotteries Act.

2 - FA rule breaches relating to betting and player misconduct that Sutton United goalkeeper, Wayne Shaw has been charged with. The charges followed a review of February’s Emirates FA Cup fifth round tie between Sutton United and Arsenal FC at Sutton’s Gander Green Lane. The FA has charged Shaw with “influencing a football betting market” contrary to FA Rule E5(a).
