Attendee numbers at the Slot Summit were the highest since conception

The 2016 European Slot Summit closed its doors just over a week ago and this year’s event saw a mix of international speakers and delegates and a diverse, future-focused agenda.

Attendee numbers at the Slot Summit were the highest since conception and delegates and sponsors alike have been exclaiming their delight at not only the quantity, but of the quality too. “We are thrilled with the feedback we have already received from attendees, and we are looking forward to continuing this momentum into the rest of our 2016 Slot Summits, the first of which will be located in Mendoza, Argentina in September”, said Paul Mills, Portfolio Director at Clarion Events.

The 3 day Summit, which took place in Berlin, focused on the future of the gaming floor with the aim to help senior staff plan their budget and requirements over the next 5 years. The agenda featured some insightful sessions including those from Lucien Wijsman and Paul Steelman that tackled topics ranging from e-sports, gaming floor design, the future of mobile payment technologies, digital environments and omni-channel customer experience.

The Slot Summit has always had a big focus on innovation, and this year the Slot Summit saw a partnership with Eurocoin and the development of the Slot Summit Tech Stream. This allowed the Summit to dedicate substantial time to the future technical development in gaming seamlessly alongside it’s marketing focus, not only improving the learning opportunities for attendees at the Summit but through attracting a larger proportion of the market, the networking opportunities were significantly increased too.

With networking at the heart of the Slot Summit, StylGame sponsored a mix of evening entertainment at Casino Berlin and the Hofbrau Haus. On Tuesday evening, attendees were treated to an energetic performance by tribute act, the Soul Brothers, followed by dinner. On the second evening guests were taken to Hoffbrau Haus Berlin to enjoy an evening of traditional German entertainment.
