The inaugural Nordic Affiliate Conference will take place in Stockholm

iGB Affiliate is aiming to attract 500 delegates from the Nordic region for the inaugural Nordic Affiliate Conference (NAC) in Stockholm on April 7, 2017.

Shona ODonnell, Head of Operations for iGB Affiliate, told TotallyGaming.com: “The event will be focused purely on the region and will be a smaller style conference with a real emphasis on networking. We are aiming to attract 500 delegates from the Nordic region.”

The conference was launched after a survey showed that more than one in four wanted an affiliate event dedicated to the Nordics. The same survey also dictated that the event will be set up very differently to the larger exhibitions in London, Amsterdam and Berlin.

ODonnell continued: “One of the other stand out trends from the survey was the need for an event that would provide outstanding networking opportunities. The Nordic Affiliate Conference will be hosted as a lounge style event rather than having giant stands.

“This will enable delegates to network in a more intimate and fluid way. We will also be hosting a dinner the night before the event, which will ensure that delegates get to meet each other in an informal way before the event begins.”

Finally, ODonnell confirmed that the event will back on to the two-day iGaming Forum in Stockholm, in the same way that London Affiliate Conference (LAC) follows on from ICE, and the Berlin Affiliate Conference (BAC) comes straight after the EiG expo in the same city.

“We already have a huge volume of delegates and sponsors who have registered their interest in attending. We have also purposely backed the event on to the iGaming Forum, an established B2B iGaming event in the region, which means delegates will get even more return on their investment as they will be able to attend both events in one trip.”

Totally Gaming says: The conference has been created to appease popular demand for an affiliate event dedicated to the Nordics. iGB will be announcing the venue in the next few weeks, but it’s clear that NAC will be a smaller style conference in comparison to LAC, BAC and AAC, with a stronger focus on networking and Nordic-focused workshops.
