Webinar on the 27th July for Lawmakers, Regulators and Gaming Operators

Spectrum Gaming Group and Clarion Events will present a special webinar for lawmakers, regulators and gaming operators focusing on the experience of online gaming in the United States, including a discussion of ideas, policies and prescriptions for ensuring that any further expansion of online gaming advances public policy.

The free webinar, titled “15 years of SIGHT: How Experiences in Regulation and Operation of Online Gambling in the USA Can Help State Governments Ensure Advancement of Public Policy Goals,” takes place Thursday, July 27, at 11 AM EDT./4:00 PM BST

Fifteen years ago, Spectrum introduced the Spectrum Internet Gaming Heuristic Theorem (SIGHT), which accurately charted the convergence of land-based and online gaming. Spectrum marked the anniversary with a white paper (with a second installment to be released next week) and the upcoming webinar, to focus on future issues that must be addressed in the complex convergence of online and land-based gaming.

“Our expert presenters will provide critical analysis and thought-provoking discussion of the important issues policymakers and operators need to consider as they chart their course in this gaming space, including the vital relationship between online gaming and the $70 billion land-based casino industry,” said Michael Pollock, Managing Director of Spectrum Gaming Group.

The webinar is sponsored by the National Council of Legislators from Gaming States (NCLGS) a non-partisan organization of state lawmakers that meets on a regular basis to discuss gaming public policy issues.

The webinar will feature the following experts:

  • Gideon Bierer, Co-founder and Managing Partner of Partis Solutions
  • Jeff Ifrah, Founding Member of Ifrah Law and I-Development and Economic Association (iDEA)
  • Helene Keeley, Representative, State of Delaware, and Vice President of NCLGS
  • Michael Pollock, Managing Director of Spectrum Gaming Group, Executive Director of NCLGS
  • Richard Schwartz, President of Rush Street Interactive
  • Adam Steinberg, Senior Vice President, Spectrum Gaming Capital
