Clarion Events, organiser of world leading gaming brands including ICE London, ICE VOX, iGB Live!, London Affiliate Conference, Juegos Miami and GiGse, has been named as the event industry’s most influential company of the last 25 years.  The highest accolade in the UK events and exhibitions sector was made at the 2018 AEO Excellence Awards, widely recognised as the industry’s Oscars.

Kate Chambers, who is in charge of Clarion’s gaming portfolio, believes the award, which was made at a lunch attended by over 1,000 guests at the prestigious Grosvenor House Hotel in London’s Park Lane, reflects positively on the international gaming community and its role in helping to create such strong and vibrant brands.  She stated: “While Clarion organises in excess of 200 events, in 50 countries across 10 industry sectors, the Gaming portfolio remains one of the most respected within the company and is held in great esteem by both colleagues and competitors alike.

"Our established brands such as ICE London are growing in both size and influence and the team continues to launch new events, new products and new services to help the international gaming industry meet its business critical objectives.  Our mission is to deliver a global strategy for a global industry, always working with our customers and stakeholders in order to help create sustainable and socially responsible gaming economies throughout the world.  I am delighted to be part of an organisation which has been recognised for being the best in the business!”

Clarion Gaming was shortlisted as a finalist across a number of sector specific categories including: Marketing Campaign of the Year (ICE London), Best Use of Social Media (ICE London) with Marketing Co-ordinator, Beth Welcomme named in the Unsung Hero category.
