Key partnerships and sponsorships have been praised by KamaGames, as the firm aims to drive its global audience growth and expansion strategies.

Following on from an enhancement of its agreement with Poker Night in America, the developer and publisher of Pokerist has unveiled a deal with media company The Yogscast.

Committing to sponsor six brand new episodes of the Yogscast Poker Nights show, the first episode is to go live via Twitch.TV at 5pm UK time tomorrow (Wednesday June 6).

Sam Forrest, director of global communications and content at KamaGames, spoke to regarding the opportunities partnering with The Yogscast brings: “Operators are always looking for new opportunities to grow their audience and of course their KPIs for ARRPU and DAU. Recently, this has become more of a challenge as the industry as a whole is quite established.

“KamaGames have found that sponsorships and partnerships such as the one with Poker Night in America is one of the most effective ways to really see significant and rapid growth, and are expecting similar success with this latest agreement with The Yogscast.”

Before adding how this latest agreement is in keeping with KamaGames’ blueprint for worldwide growth: “We are looking to expand our reach and audience into other areas of entertainment, and the video games market definitely falls under that.

“The Yogscast has itself seen some great growth over the years and established itself as a respected brand within the industry.

“We knew that the previous Yogscast Poker Night streams have had good viewing numbers, and therefore there is definitely an established Poker playing audience there.

“We’ve always positioned Pokerist as a social casino app that can be enjoyed by any player of any ability.

“Each of the games within the app, be they Pokerist, Blackjackist, Roulettist etc. all have very simple-to-access tutorials to teach new players the basics so they can get straight into the game.

“We are working with the team at The Yogscast to show that Pokerist is not just for seasoned players, but that it is also a great way to learn one of the classic card games and have a lot fun doing it.”
