Hale has been rising through the VGT ranks since 2006

Video Gaming Technologies (VGT), the US-based developer of Class II slot machines for the North American casino market, has announced the promotion of Jerry Hale to vice president of Midwest operations.

Hale is based at the company’s manufacturing facility in Tulsa, Oklahoma, and will report directly to VGT president Jay Sevigny.

He started his VGT career in 2006 as supply chain manager. In 2012, Hale relocated from the group’s corporate headquarters in Franklin, Tennessee, to the Tulsa facility as director of supply chain, and was most recently vice president of supply chain.

“Jerry’s leadership has increased our supply chain efficiency and the overall value we can provide to our customers,” Sevigny said. “Jerry brings a passion for delivering quality products and providing exceptional customer service to the role.”

Discussing his new position earlier this week, Hale told “It is a privilege to lead a talented, energetic team. As vice president of Midwest operations, I will ensure we deliver the highest quality, efficiency and customer satisfaction in our Class II gaming products and services.

“My focus for the remainder of 2017 will be enabling the growth of our core business, exceeding customer expectations and strengthening our internal culture.”

Founded in 1991, VGT is a leading North American developer, manufacturer and distributor of casino games for the Native American bingo-based gaming sector and emerging markets.

The company was acquired by Aristocrat Technologies in 2014, and currently has more than 20,000 terminals in more than 140 locations across the US.

“We are pleased with our 2017 performance and, specifically, how well our recently-launched Ovation video platform has been received,” Hale stated. “Our Class II casino partners and their customers deserve entertaining gaming experiences, which is exactly our intent with Ovation.”

Totally Gaming says: Running as a division of Aristocrat, VGT is focused on continuing its success in the Class II tribal gaming operations market. The promotion of Hale – an experienced gaming professional with extensive knowledge of the group’s North American supply chain – is set to help VGT fulfil its goals.
