Have trouble keeping up with twitter? Well Totally Gaming has been scouring the feeds to bring some of the more interesting tweets from the industry to your attention. Have you seen something that is worthy of attention? Tweet us at @totallygaminghq or re-tweet using the hashtag #twitterlygaming

The British Horseracing Authorities Authorised Betting Partner scheme, where only brands who the sport feels have paid enough to racing are allowed to be sponsors, continues to be contentious, especially in a week of lacklustre racing.

However @tony_calvin formerly of Betfair, which happens to be an ABP, believes that not everyone can complain about the quality.

He tweeted: “Absolutely no point in bookmakers who don't pay online levy, and therefore don't contribute to sport, moaning about yesterday's fixture list.”

In Australia, NSW State Premier Mike Baird has been unrepentant about his decision to shut down greyhound racing in the state after a report for the government highlighted widespread welfare issues. Even after meeting with the sport’s stakeholders, he remained unmoved. He tweeted: When Parliament resumes, we will introduce the legislation to ban greyhound racing. The legislation will be debated. And it will pass.

But there’s no getting away from one of the big news stories this week. Pokemon Go. Even Konami have been getting in on the act, by catching them all and playing slots at the same time. he tweeted: Great slots AND Pokéstops!?! We're in heaven #PokemonGO #jackpot #AllThrill (21+)

Gaming industry researcher analyst and consultant Gene Johnson meanwhile wasn’t too impressed at rumours that the two biggest DFS operators, DraftKings and FanDuel, were considering a merger. He simply tweeted: How do you spell monopoly?

Previous @EiG_Gaming speaker and futurist Simon Moores has just had a nasty shock when ordering a drink at a London hotel. He tweeted: “Just seen the bill for a small Coca-Cola at a Knightsbridge hotel think I may have bought the Bentley outside."

Manchester-based mobile gambling developer Degree 53 has clearly been inspired by Andy Murray at Wimbledon as the whole staff are getting honed for a new tournament. Getting really competitive for #TableTennisDay!

Following on from last week’s Openbet tweet, it seems that some of the industry’s major corporate suppliers really do have a sweet tooth, with Microgaming’s Official Account revealing that Anna McChesney has been handing out the cupcakes. Our latest treat from the marvellous Mrs McChesney: chocolate and coconut #cupcakes with lashings of #yum
