Strong relationship resumes for Caesars and All-in Diversity project

Caesars has become a founding member of the initiative

Caesars Entertainment has reaffirmed its commitment to equality and inclusion within the gambling by becoming a founding member of The All-in Diversity Project.

Caesars has been a long term advocate of championing diversity within the industry and will as a founding member of the All-in Diversity project, play a key role in setting operational and strategic goals of the initiative, contributing ideas and best practices, and helping to lead the drive for long-term impactful change across the whole industry.

Speaking to, Kelly Kehn co-founder of All-in Diversity Project lauded the Executive Vice President, Public Policy & Corporate Responsibility at Caesars, Jan Jones Blackhurst: “Caesars Entertainment has been working for Diversity for many years. Their Exec VP Public Policy and Corp.Responsibility, Jan Jones Blackhurst, has been a major advocate for and has been campaigning on this topic since she was elected the first female mayor of Las Vegas in 1991.

“Under her tenure at Caesars,employee diversity has increased, with 41% of management positions held by women and 57% of employees from minority groups. Jan has also been an huge influence on the success of AIDP as an advisory board member. In a nutshell, Caesars has always been a major contributor to our success and will also be to that of the industry at large.”

The lead out initiative from All-in Diversity Project is the All-Index, a global industry standard index measuring progress for diversity and inclusion, which was built in partnership with Oxford Brookes University.

It will provide a report on annual progress within the industry, and make recommendations in various areas such as demographics, corporate governance, internal policies, recruitment practices, employment policies, unconscious bias and marketing from operators and suppliers around the world. The report will paint a picture for the Gambling Industry and results will be totally anonymised.

Further discussing the flourishing relationship between Caesars and the All-in Diversity project, Kehn added: “They were are first financial supporter and have guided a lot of our strategy since we launched a year ago. I'm happy we finally get to celebrate the impact they've had on our success overall. I think we can all look forward to a lot more from the Caesars/AIDP partnership in the future.”

Blackhurst also commented on the new partnership: “For years, Caesars Entertainment has been on the leading edge of progressive policies around human rights. Through the All-in Diversity Project, we have the opportunity to learn and share information to educate the gaming industry and move forward in creating best practices and measuring progress in the gaming workspace.”
