Flagship Pokerist title praised as "one of the most popular social games in the world"

KamaGames, the mobile social poker operators, has detailed a five million boost in its playing figures this year, nudging the firm over the one hundred million unique users milestone.

Attributing parts of its success to innovation and enhancement, which has seen the introduction of new game modes as well as slots, KamaGames also praises its user focus, which brings a host of fresh material through daily content, themed events, features and much more.

Andrey Kuznetsov, CEO of KamaGames, has been speaking to TotallyGaming.com about the level reached and what it says about the power of social games: “100 million players is a great achievement and a milestone that is definitely not easy to reach. It's also worth remembering too that this number is especially large in the context of the social casino market.

“Social casino is a much harder market in which to acquire new players compared to other social/casual games which can get larger numbers of organic users by being featured in app stores etc.

“100,000,000 players is proof that we, as a company, are definitely moving in the right direction. Our product is already 8 years old and we are continuing to develop it, adding new features, enhancements and other elements to keep our players engaged and to continue to generate increased profits year after year.”

Kuznetsov added: “Despite the fact that this is a great achievement for us as a company, looking at the wider social market, it really is a drop in the ocean compared to the major social games companies. The current size and influence of the market is demonstrated by millions of DAUs and tens of millions of monthly downloads.

“In financial terms, we are also seeing some significant business deals between the behemoths of the market, such as when Playtika was bought for $4.4 billion in 2016. This just proves how big the social market is… and it is still growing.”

Totally Gaming says: Although a huge milestone has been reached with this 100m figure, Kuznetsov seems to have a clear vision of how KamaGames will build upon this and continue to progress and grow moving forward. Praising the firm’s success in innovation, retention and engagement and successful collaborations, these will all be key as a process of strategic growth within target markets is embarked upon.
