PlayOJO is aiming to continue its growth with the launch of a brand new multi-million-pound television advertising campaign.

The campaign aims to allow the brand the opportunity to affirm its message that it’s one of the most trusted casinos globally. It features a sad alpaca that has been treated badly by other online casinos in the past, who then discovers PlayOJO, an online casino that is transparent, fair, and offers cash bonuses that come with no wagering requirements whatsoever, that’s when he finds his OJO.

The advert was created by TBWA London, and will be broadcast on the UK’s most popular TV channels, including ITV, Channel 4, Channel 5 and Sky, and will also rollout across digital and social channels. A national radio version of the ad is planned for later in the year.

When asked about PlayOJO’s different approach to marketing, Peter Bennett, Head of Brand for the group, told “The new marketing strategy is based on the insight that ‘unfair’ means different things to different people, but what unites us all is the good feeling we get when we experience fairness, in our case we are referring to fairness in the online casino industry.

“So we decided on a dancing alpaca because it’s a creative approach which allows us to stand out from other online casino advertising, reinforcing why we are different and it’s a fun, friendly and playful way of dramatizing the feel good effect you experience when you are treated fairly, which is what our brand is all about.

Further detailing how PlayOJO looks to set itself aside with fairness and transparency, he added: “Since our launch in March 2017, PlayOJO has deliberately set out to be different from the other UK online casinos with our proposition built around being fair, honest and transparent. We have never had any wagering requirements on any of our rewards or bonuses.

“Any winnings from our new or existing player bonuses or rewards are paid in cash to the players with no maximum bet or win restrictions, unlike other UK online casinos. In addition, our OJOPlus feature offers players money back on every bet, whether they win or lose.”
