International Game Technology (IGT) is to supply Penn National Gaming (PNG) with an iGaming platform and full product suite for its licensed iGaming offering in Pennsylvania.

The deal sees IGT’s PlayDigital division supply PNG’s Penn Interactive Ventures with its PlayCommand digital gaming platform to power its Hollywood Casino-branded offering.

The operator will also roll out a range of IGT’s most popular slots including Wheel of Fortune, Elephant King and Cleopatra for players, as well as its bingo and poker products.

“We’re excited to leverage IGT’s platform and content for our online gaming launch in Pennsylvania,” Penn Interactive Ventures managing director Chris Sheffield said.

“The flexibility and reliability of the PlayCommand platform, coupled with the proven game library within IGT’s PlayCasino, give us confidence that HollywoodCasino.com will deliver the same caliber of world-class gaming entertainment that our players have come to love in our land-based casinos.”

PlayDigital senior vice president Enrico Drago added: “IGT PlayDigital’s vast portfolio of proven digital solutions enables us to quickly address our customers’ needs across online gaming, sports betting and on-premise mobile gaming.

“The newly regulated Pennsylvania online gaming market presents an exciting opportunity for IGT to extend the success of our PlayCommand platform and PlayCasino to Penn National as it expands the scope of its entertainment offering.”

While no date has been set for the opening of the Pennsylvania iGaming market, IGT said that it expected to deploy its PlayDigital solutions for PNG during the first quarter of 2019.
