iGaming software provider receives approval in Belgium

EveryMatrix commercial director Nick Hill has described Belgium as an “interesting” market after the company secured a ‘Class E’ software provider licence in the country.

The licence allows suppliers and distributors to provide operators with casino and sportsbook solutions in the regulated market.

Belgium is renowned for the limited number of gaming licences available in the country and the difficulties encountered by operators that do not comply with the national regulatory framework.

“Belgium is an interesting country for both software providers and gaming operators, though it is recognised for the limited number of licences released within the market,” Hill told TotallyGaming.com.

“We were looking to obtain the Software Provider Licence Class E in Belgium in order to assist clients who were interested in developing their business operations in the heart of Europe.

“As a software provider, we always take time to analyse the number of requests from gaming operators before we commit to apply for a new licence.”

Hill added that EveryMatrix is always exploring possible new markets.

“We are constantly assessing the regulated markets in order to increase our gaming portfolio and aid operators who choose our platform to enter new territories,” he added.

“At the same time, we always try to determine the steps that need to be taken by our clients to benefit from legal assistance and providing them with gaming licences is a strategic objective for us.”

EveryMatrix now has licences in five jurisdictions – Belgium, Ireland, the UK, Malta, Curacao. The company is also on the verge of securing betting and casino licences in Denmark.

In September, Hill told TotallyGaming.com that EveryMatrix would follow up on acquisitions of a number of new licences in the UK by pursuing approval in other European jurisdictions.
